Craft Section for Palin Trophy cHere’s a date for your diary. The W.I. Craft and Hobby Show will be held in the village hall on 19th July 2014. The old adage ‘something for everyone’ certainly applies. Both adults and children are catered for and the categories of competition range from cooking to photography and from flower arranging to literature. There’s plenty more too and you can see the  complete schedule below. The photographs show some of the entries in previous shows.

ALLINGTON WOMEN’S INSTITUTE CRAFT AND HOBBY SHOW

RULES
1. Entries accepted up to 10.45am on Saturday 19th July 2014
2. Entry Fee: Adults: 50p Children: 25p
3. All entries to be staged by exhibitors ready for judging between 9am and 10.45am
4. Minimum of 3 entries per class to be eligible for an award
5. Exhibitors to provide their own receptacle
6. No entries to be removed before 5pm
7. Handicraft items must have been completed within the last twelve months
8. All trophies to be held for one year
9. Exhibits will remain at the sole risk of the competitor. The Organisers will not be liable for the loss or damage from any cause whatsoever
10. The Judges decision is final
11. The Organisers would be willing to exhibit any items not included in the Schedule
