No Cook Chocolate Crunch

A Recipe From Allington W.I.

Ingredients

8oz digestive biscuits
2oz raisins
2oz glace chopped cherries
2 Tbls golden syrup
4oz butter or margarine
4oz milk or plain chocolate
4 -6 oz chocolate for topping


Method

Break up biscuits into small pieces and place in bowl
Add raisins and chopped cherries
Melt choc. golden syrup and butter
Add to dry ingredients and stir well
Press into greased tin and refrigerate until set
Coat with melted topping chocolate, leave to set
Cut into pieces
