The playing field fundraisers engaged in some extra curricular activity on Saturday 22 January by undertaking a litter pick on the roads leading into the village. Within a little over two hours eight volunteers managed to fill Dan Crag’s truck with a variety of litter, most of which must have been thrown from passing vehicles.
Just pointing out that we were all indeed volenteers; not a group of “Naughty People” out on community service (as was overheard as we were walking past Peach Lane!)
Nor were we responsible for the fly tipping at the end of Lowfields Lane
Thanks for all the hard work, we can tell you’ve been there!
