Easter 2013 appears to have been the coldest on record. However, it clearly takes more than a cold snap to keep Allington’s youngsters away from their Easter Eggs. The egg hunt at the playing field on bank Holiday Monday saw a good turnout of parents and young people alike. Although the eggs had been carefully secreted away around various parts of the playing field they were soon discovered. Although this isn’t a fund raising event a raffle and much generosity was sufficient to cover all costs.
