Sean Heydon
Sean Heydon has been working in some of the worlds most prestigious venues for A-list celebrities and blue chip companies for over ten years now with his unique style of madcap comedy and fascinating magic. With many television credits to his name (including acting as the resident illusionist on the Paul O’Grady Show, Channel 4), Heydon is also in constant demand across the BBC Radio network as a special guest.
In 2009 he had his own regular 30 minute show called ‘Magic On The Wireless’, which consisted of interactive mind reading magic and comedy with listeners – this was aired live across four stations:

Tom Glover
Following in the footsteps of the westcountry’s finest comedy talent, Tom has been growing in the dark depths of the south west where he is a regular MC and headliner for those rooms no-one else can afford to drive to.
His infectious personality and playful approach make him an instant hit with audiences, however Tom is perhaps best known for his excellent crowd work and quick wit that have earned him a number of regular compere roles at major venues across the South West. He’s had two successful runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with split shows and is currently planning for his debut solo show in 2019.

Pete Phillipson
Originally from Lincolnshire, Manchester based Pete Phillipson is a fantastically funny act over the last few years, mixing fast paced observations and routines with wonderful characterisations.Pete is able to command an audience as well as he commands a variety of accents, wearing his comedy heart on his sleeve and leaving the audience in hysterics at his misfortunes and frustrations with the minutiae of everyday life.
Off stage, you can listen to Pete on Fab Radio International where he performs the weekly radio show “Bad Nostalgia” with fellow comedian Lewis Charlesworth.

James Cook
James Cook, our compere for the evening, is a professional comedian based in Birmingham, UK, with over 1,000 gigs worth of experience as an act and compere.
You can often find him performing at clubs such as The Glee, Jongleurs, Komedia among others, and he’s a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe, either doing stand-up, or performing shows about board gaming.
James won a Jongleurs/Spike Milligan award for being the funniest person in the Midlands in 2003. It’s been fourteen years and they haven’t asked for it back, so he’s assuming it must still be him.
The Venue
Most people will know where the village hall is located but just in case you are coming from a small town in Scunthorpe, here’s a map.
