Cars, Bikes, Tractors, & …….. Planes?

Allington Village has hosted cars shows since 2016, either on the Village Green or the playing field. We have welcomed a variety of vehicles of all descriptions, ages and condition; as long as it is of interest then it is welcome. Since 2017 we have also been fortunate to have flypasts by the Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight, including the Lancaster bomber and several Spitfires and Hurricanes. This year a Spitfire will make three passes at 11.00 am.

This year's event takes place on Allington Playing Field, Bottesford Road, Allington, on Sunday 9th July. Admission is free.

Past entries have included cars from the pre war period, many 1940s and 1950s classic cars and bikes, camper vans, even a Formula 3 single seat racing car. This year is the 100th anniversary of the MG marque so we are expecting a 1929 MG 18/80 as well as the usual ‘modern’ MGs

As we are displaying on the village playing field there will be plenty of space for many entries. Bring your own picnic chairs, tables, gazebos if you wish.

We recognise that some entrants travel a distance, so we have made entry free, we just ask that you partake of the facilities available. We may however ask for charitable donations.

Although no formal application is necessary it is helpful to our planning if you could just notify us in advance at

Please try to arrive by 10.30am in order that we can park ready for opening from 11.00am

Refreshments will be available from 10.00am (tea, coffee, bacon butties etc.)

The beer festival will continue for non drivers subject to stock, and other refreshments will be available throughout the day. there will also be live music.
